I am in support of CCSS because it holds all students to the same standard so that no child is left behind. My teachers implementation to the common core has been a smooth one, thanks to the lesson plan templates we created with standards in drop down menus for our lesson planning. Many schools have also adopted this format of lesson planning because it helps all teachers (Science, History, SS, etc) work together and stay on the same page when it comes to planning lessons with the CCSS and helps them keep their focus on informational text. Our lesson plan can be found on and also on Teachers Pay Teacher by Stars-Edu
